Somewhere at Marina Mall demanded a design language that would elevate the dining experience to match the premium expectations of Abu Dhabi's discerning clientele. The space needed a signature overhead feature that would create a sense of luxury and warmth without overwhelming the food-focused experience.
The client envisioned gold as the unifying element - a material that speaks to both Arabian heritage and contemporary sophistication.
We developed a ceiling installation concept using gold-toned elements that catch and reflect light, creating a dynamic overhead canopy that shifts in character throughout the day. The design draws on organic forms - leaves, botanical motifs, and flowing lines - to soften the opulence of the gold palette.
Every decor element was designed as part of the same visual family, from the ceiling to table accessories, ensuring a unified and considered environment.
